Assistant Building Services Supervisor

Grade 2: Salary £18,562-£20,493

36.5 hours per week - all year round (Permanent Post) 

Variable shift pattern between the hours of 7.00am – 6.15pm (hours to be negotiated)

Are you looking for variety in your working day? Would you like to gain practical skills? Then this could be the post for you. We are seeking an enthusiastic, hardworking and committed Assistant Building Site Supervisor to join our busy Site Team. Some basic skills in DIY and gardening are desirable but not essential as training will be given.

You will be responsible for:

  • General maintenance of the school buildings and grounds under the direction of the Site Manager including: DIY tasks, decorating, plumbing, repairs, cleaning,
  • Ground's maintenance - ensuring the grounds are well maintained and litter free,
  • General janitorial duties throughout the school day to ensure all facilities are clean and safe,
  • Assist in the opening/closing of the Site on a shift basis.

We are looking for someone who is:

  • a friendly, hardworking, team player,
  • able to work on their own initiative and under supervision,
  • flexible as no two days are the same,
  • willing to undertake further training as required.

Actual Yearly Salary: £2,965

£9.75 - £10.76 per hour

6 hours 40 minutes per week, term time only (39 weeks per year)

We wish to appoint a caring person to join our dedicated, hard- working lunchtime team. You will be responsible for supervising children during the lunch break, promoting good behaviour and taking a proactive role in supporting our children in their play.

We are looking for someone who:

  • has the ability to relate well to children and adults
  • can work well as part of a team
  • has excellent attendance

We are looking to appoint two suitably qualified, enthusiastic and passionate teaching assistants to join our friendly, supportive and hardworking team of staff in Key Stage Two.  Applicants must hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification and possess good numeracy and literacy skills with GCSE’s or equivalent in English and Maths. Good ICT skills are also essential.
