Pupil Premium Grant
To improve the educational attainment of underperforming pupils and narrow the gaps between free school meals and non-free school meals pupils, additional funding has been allocated through the 'Pupil Premium Grant.' This grant comes from the Government and is paid directly to schools.
Fo each child who is eligible for the Pupil Premium Grant, school will receive an allocation of £1,345 for them.
The total allocation received is based on the numbers of pupils in Reception to Year 6, who are entitled to Free School Meals. This also includes "Looked After Children" who also receive an allocation in addition to Pupil Premium.
